Connecting the country to the world
The founding of CJSC «Telecomm Technology» marked the starting point for Internet development in Tajikistan. The company was established in 1994 and became a member of the international satellite communications organization INTELSAT in 1996.
By 2003, TTL had gradually commissioned terrestrial VSAT satellite stations in the Sughd and Khatlon regions, the Districts of Republican Subordination and the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region. This created a unified satellite data network.
Further development included IP telephony, NGN, CDMA, a nationwide fibre-optic network, GPON and IPTV. Today TTL provides internet, television and telephony services to residential and corporate customers.

CJSC «Telecomm Technology» was founded.
More than 40 nationwide banking and corporate networks were created; the company joined INTELSAT D.A.T.E. USER and introduced MPEG-2 digital television broadcasting to Khorugh.
TTL became the first company to provide Internet access to residents of Dushanbe.
IP telephony was introduced and Dushanbe’s first internet café opened; the company received a Gold Medal from the French Association of Industrialists.
VSAT stations were commissioned in Khorugh and Qurghonteppa; the company received the International Gold Star for Quality.
A unified satellite data network was established, the NGN network launched and CDMA 2000 1X wireless technology introduced.
A nationwide fibre-optic network and backbone SDH network were commissioned, while external Internet capacity was expanded.
GPON subscriber connections began and IPTV was introduced.
